This Privacy Policy describes how Vora (“we”, “our”, or “the App”) handles your information when you use our mobile application.

We believe in your right to privacy. Our core principle is that your photos should remain on your device.

1. Data Collection and Use

Vora does not collect, transmit, store, or share any of your personal photos or videos.

All photo analysis, including fingerprinting, duplicate detection, and quality scoring (sharpness, exposure, vibrancy), is performed locally on your device using your device’s processing power. Your images never leave your phone at any point during this process.

2. Permissions

To function, the App requires specific permissions on your device. Here is why we ask for them:

• Photo Library / Storage Access (Read and Write):
  • Why needed: To scan your gallery to identify duplicates and to allow you to delete the photos you select.
  • Data handling: We only read the image data locally into memory for analysis. We only write (delete) files when you explicitly tap the delete button within the App.
• Notifications:
  • Why needed: To inform you of the progress of long-running scans when the app is in the background.

3. Third-Party Services

The App is built using Flutter. While we do not collect personal data, the underlying operating system (iOS or Android) or standard platform libraries may collect non-identifying usage statistics (like crash reports or app install metrics) that are governed by their respective privacy policies.

4. Children’s Privacy

Vora is a general audience application and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
